Project Overview

What can be verified from this production batch

Customer-sensitive specifications are not published. The facts below are limited to the project information and photographs released by HONMET.

Customer
Confidential industrial customer; company name and country not released
Parts
Threaded motion shafts, precision turned shafts and a machined flange interface
Application
The geometry is consistent with industrial motion and mechanical assemblies; the exact end-use is not disclosed
Material
Ferrous-metal components produced to customer specifications; alloy grade and heat-treatment condition are confidential
Production stage
Repeat production batch after machining, finishing and inspection
Quantity
The photographs verify batch production; the purchase-order quantity is not published
Manufacturing
Turning and machining of shaft ends, threads, journals, shoulders, bores and flange mounting features
Surface condition
Bright finished working surfaces and darker treated areas are visible; the exact finishing process is not claimed without the drawing
Critical features
Shaft journals, thread or lead geometry, shoulders, flange bore, bolt-circle position and rotational relationships
Packing
Parts were separated in lined containers and handled as controlled batches before shipment preparation
The Manufacturing Challenge

Consistency matters more as quantity increases

Moving from a prototype to a production batch changes the risk. A single accepted sample is not enough: shaft diameters, threaded sections, flange interfaces and finished surfaces must remain consistent across the order.

For this project, the public evidence does not disclose numerical tolerances. The practical requirement was to carry the approved part definition through machining, finishing, inspection and handling so that later pieces follow the same acceptance basis as the first.

Engineering Interpretation

How similar parts would normally be inspected

This is a process recommendation based on the visible part geometry—not a claim about unreleased customer records. The final inspection plan must follow the controlled drawing.

Controlled Workflow

Four stages visible in the documented project

01

Machining

Shaft, thread, end and flange-interface features were produced to the controlled project definition.

02

Finishing

Project-specified surface treatments were completed before final acceptance. Exact treatment names remain confidential.

03

Inspection

Dimensional and visual checks were completed against the approved drawing and order requirements.

04

Handling & delivery preparation

Completed parts were separated, contained and handled carefully before final shipment packing.

Verified Result

Completed parts prepared for delivery

The documented batch completed machining, finishing, inspection and handling before shipment preparation. No claims are made about lead-time reduction, scrap rate, cost saving or customer performance because those figures were not released.
